We are looking for new members of Team Brummie; a Delivery Driver and Taproom Duty Manager
DELIVERY DRIVER
The role will involve:
Delivering cask, keg and canned beer to trade customers and personal homes.
Collecting empty casks and kegs from bars and restaurants.
Loading and unloading the van.
Logging deliveries on a tablet, using specialised software.
Assisting in packaging beer.
Taking customer queries in full detail and reporting to the office in a timely manner.
What we are looking for:
Must be 25 years or older.
Hold a full clean driving licence.
Confident to negotiate busy city centre roads.
Competent to handle complex routes with several deliveries on one day.
Physically fit as the job involves lifting up to 60kg.
Have a basic level of IT literacy.
Excellent customer service skills to ensure a good continued relationship with our customers.
An interest in beer, brewing and the hospitality industry.

Managing a teamÂ
Â
Training and briefing the team.

Ensuring of holding to standards and procedures.
Running the barÂ
Â
Ensuring efficient dispense from a craft beer system.
Â
Tracking stock levels, making suggestions for stock to the Manager.
Managing the app ordering system, ensuring it is working and that orders are dealt with promptly.
Ensuring table booking system is used effectively and that walk in space is optimised.
Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.
Complying with all food and beverage regulations.
Setting up the taproom ready for the public.
Securing the premises at the end of a shift.

Sharing the love of beerÂ
Â
Responsibility for hosting 6-8 brewery tours & tastings per month.
Â
Make beer recommendations to customers based on their tastes.
Host beer tastings & supporting Meet the Brewer external events.
Representing Birmingham Brewing Company at hospitality events.
What we are looking for
Â
Experienced hospitality professional
Â
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Â
A confident and at ease public speaker
The ability to multitask and work under pressure
Â
Attention to detail and diplomatic conflict resolution
Experience of managing a cellar, preparing beer for dispense and changing kegs/ casks
Â
A knowledge and love of beer!
